Bradford Park Avenue >>

Strange but true: Bradford Park Avenue played one season in the Southern League. The team was founded in 1907, having previously played Rugby, and immediately applied for membership of the Football League; however it was Fulham and Oldham who were elected in place of Port Vale and Burton United. This did however leave a vacancy in the Southern League that Bradford filled. Their first game was at Reading, where they won 3-1. At the end of the season, Bradford were elected to the Football League along with Tottenham.
