League Level III

History

The Football League Division 3 (D3) was founded in 1958 with the reorganisation of the old Division 3 South (D3S) and Division 3 North (D3N). Division 3 was renumbered as Division 2 (D2*) in 1992 with the breakaway of the Premier League. It was then rebranded as League One (FL1) in 2004.
